The sun starts to rise on a very isolated house in the midwest. The frost on the flowers planted outside will slowly melt, and the indoor out-of-season plants enjoy the sun basking on them through the windows.

Sitting on the floor in the small entrance of this house is a young girl, listening to some chill breakcore playlist on her phone, basking in the sunrise with the potted plants that sit and hang around her.

She looks over at some of the potted plants. They're not exactly her thing; it's her granddad that keeps all these plants around. Then again, he only keeps them because her grandma likes them a lot.

She doesn't even dare touch the plants, for fear of killing them. But, they are pretty.

Your name is TRIX MERCURY, and you feel very HOMESICK. In just 3 months, you will be turning 17, and that will make the 5th birthday you've had while stuck at your grandparents house. Oh, how the time flies. But the more time that passes just begs the question more and more: when are your parents going to come back from their trip? Surely there can't be that much they have to be overseas for.
